Open-enrolment Management Training - dates confirmed!

The dates and details of our first-ever open-enrolment  management training programme are here! Modular and remote to maximise accessibility, the programme kicks off on Tuesday January 14th 2025 and concludes on Tuesday February 25th 2025. Two different cohorts are available (UK morning and UK late afternoon) to accommodate all timezones. Classes are conducted in English.

This training teaches managers - new or experienced - how to be great at managing their teams. Crucially it starts with the attitude and approach needed to be successful, then we get into the skills, tools and techniques that make a difference. Participants learn how to consciously and deliberately become great managers and start to experience the success of that from the first module. Over the course of 7 weeks the participants' motivation and impact are transformed and the changes get embedded in their day to day work for lasting positive outcomes.

The training is based on the content of the book of course; this format is similar to the highly-successful management development courses that David led at activpayroll,  which contributed to significant improvements in manager performance and employee experience,  and to that Company being a Newsweek "Most Loved Workplace" for the past two years.

Details:

• 8 modules, all fully-remote
• Absolute maximum of 8 participants in the class to guarantee lots of engagement and personal involvement
• All of the modules are taught by David Deacon so participants are learning directly from the person who wrote the book
• Modules 1-3 cover the fundamentals of being a great manager: each is 90 minutes long, delivered across a two-week period, getting everyone fully grounded in the principles and practices
• Modules 4 and 5 cover delegation and manager-as-coach; critical topics, one hour each, one per week.
• Module 6 is purely coaching, reviewing progress, covering off challenges. 90+ minutes.
• Module 7 covers managing performance, which is key to being successful. 60 minutes.
• Module 8 is the "graduation module" where we pull it all together and celebrate our success

In addition to the 8 high-impact modules all taught by David, participants get the workbook and checklists they need to help them remain great managers for the rest of their careers, and membership of an elite group of managers who truly understand what it takes to be Self Determined Managers.
